SUPPORTING FAMILIES
Supporting Your Child Starts With Understanding
We offer practical, real-life support for families navigating autism and ADHD — helping you make sense of what’s happening and feel more confident in what to do next.
When you’re supporting a neurodivergent child, it can feel overwhelming.
You may already have tried different approaches, taken advice, and done everything you can to help — and still find that things don’t quite make sense.
What works one day may not work the next.
And often, you’re left trying to manage situations that feel intense, unpredictable, and exhausting — for both your child and your family. You’re not alone in that.
Many of the families we support are dealing with:
Meltdowns or shutdowns that seem to come from nowhere
After school collapse
High levels of anxiety or emotional overwhelm
Difficulties with communication or understanding
Sleep challenges
Situations where everyday things feel much harder than they should
And for some families, the needs are more complex — requiring constant
support, and often not fully understood by the systems around them.
Too often, support focuses on surface behaviours.
Or assumes that one approach will work for everyone.
But neurodivergence doesn’t work like that.
And families — especially those supporting children with more complex needs — are often left feeling unheard, unsupported, and overlooked.
What we do is different.
We focus on helping you understand what’s really going on underneath.
Using a clear, practical framework, we look at how your child experiences the world across:
emotional experience
Sensory processing
Communication and language
Thinking, planning and imagination
When these areas are understood, things begin to make more sense.
And when things make sense, it becomes much easier to respond in a way that actually helps.
This allows you to:
Feel more confident in how you respond
Reduce overwhelm — for both you and your child
Understand patterns rather than reacting to moments
Create approaches that work in real life, not just in theory
How we support you
We offer a range of ways to support families, including:
· One-to-one support
Parent-focused guidance and sessions
Structured programmes and training
Each designed to meet you where you are, and help you move forward in a way that feels manageable and sustainable.
This isn’t about getting everything right.
Or finding a perfect solution.
It’s about building understanding — step by step — so that things feel clearer, calmer, and more manageable over time.
Because when you understand what’s really going on, everything changes.
“I felt safe and understood straight away. There was no judgement, just great advice and resources we could use straight away”
